A collection of 20 festive Christmas cards depicting Japanese scenes in woodblock prints, or Ukiyo-e. One of four charming woodblock prints by Utagawa Hiroshige, titled Meguro Drum Bridge and Sunset Hill, 1857. The inside greeting reads 'Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year'. A perfect Christmas card for sending to loved ones.

This set of woodblock prints is from the British Museum's print archive. Ukiyo-e is a genre of Japanese art which formed during the 17th-19th century. Utagaw artists created woodblock prints and paintings showing interpretations of natural scenery from female beauties to historical folk tales.
