The front cover of this A5 notebook shows a traditional Japanese image of cranes flying across the rising sun. It has an elastic band closure and inside pocket to hold notes, reminders or business cards. 200 pages of off-white lined paper.

Red crowned Japanese cranes live for 30 to 40 years and mate for life, so it's no wonder they are symbols of long life, good luck, fidelity and marital harmony. The Japanese name for Japan, Nihon or Nippon, means the origin of the sun. The sun plays an important part in Japanese mythology as the first emperor descended from the sun goddess.
